The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is pleased to invite you to join an online all-day webcast of the 2nd International Forum on Long-term Energy Scenarios (LTES) for the Clean Energy Transition. Originally planned to be held during the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue this month, the forum will now be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

Date: Thursday 26 March 2020 at 9am-6pm CET

About: The forum will be built upon the rich discussions that took place under the umbrella of the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) Campaign on Long-term Scenarios for the Energy Transition (LTES Campaign) since its inception in June 2018, and on activities organised under IRENA’s Long-term Energy Scenario Network – LTES Network which expanded the scope of the LTES Campaign.  The virtual forum on 26 March will gather representatives from governments, technical institutions, academia, industry and the private sector, who are directly involved in either using or developing long-term energy scenarios to support policymaking and planning for the clean energy transition.  Speakers and participants will have the opportunity to exchange practical experience and gather good practices from around the world.
