  • Technological Solutions
  • Sustainability

Please note: The 4th G-STIC conference will be a hybrid event, offering online participation possibilities in addition to the participation at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium.

How do you capture new opportunities to contribute to a sustainable world? Do you have a hard time to exchange experiences with the right people?

Now that COVID 19 presents all of us unexpectedly with immense challenges, it has never been more evident how important it is to have access to technological solutions for fighting health emergencies.

Especially in those difficult times, the G-STIC conference remains the place to be for exploring breakthrough innovations addressing health and other societal challenges including:
• lifelong learning,
• district energy systems,
• marine energy resources,
• remote healthcare services,
• sustainable irrigation for food and water security,
• the digitalisation of waste management processes,

as well as a range of solutions to accelerate climate change mitigation and adaptation:
• sector-oriented climate services,
• monitoring greenhouse gas emissions,
• smart water management and governance.

All climate-related sessions at the conference will be managed by the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, South Korea), whom we welcome as a new G-STIC co-host.

World-renowned keynote speakers and thought leaders on sustainable development such as Gro Harlem Brundtland, Damilola Ogunbiyi (Sustainable Energy for All), Nikhil Seth (UNITAR), Satya Trapathi (UN Environment) and Thierry Geerts (Google) will inspire you with real-life examples of breakthrough innovations for the SDGs.

Join the 4th G-STIC conference to extend your international network with people dedicated to the SDGs and engage with other stakeholders in sustainable development.
