  • Online Event

The 12 November Water Day is part of the 9-19 November Race to Zero November Dialogues, supported by the High-Level Champions of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Dialogues focus on concrete action from non-state actors from around the world to ensure that the world’s carbon emissions reach net zero by 2050, at the latest.

Don’t miss this chance to hear world-leading experts explain how we can use water to address both the causes and impacts of climate change. Speakers include Inger Andersen from UNEP, climate expert Johan Rockström, Pope Francis’ climate advisor Cardinal Peter Turkson and Ma Jun who has been leading China’s environmental movement.

The Water Dialogues will run from 8:00 GMT/ 9:00 CET to 17:30 GMT/ 18:30 CET on 12 November 2020. The language of the events will be English, and simultaneous interpretation in Spanish and in French will be provided.
