WaterEnergyNexus 2020
The WaterEnergyNEXUS is one of the most important and priority issue to be resolved for both current and next generations.
The University of Sfax (Tunisia) in cooperation with Sanitary Environmental Engineering Division (SEED) of the University of Salerno (Italy), Advanced Institute of Water Industry at Kyungpook National University (Korea) and with The Energy and Resources Institute, TERI (India) is organizing the third edition of WaterEnergyNEXUS conference, that will be held online on 1-5 December 2020.
The first edition of WaterEnergyNEXUS was organized in Korea during the Asian International Water Week, one of the more relevant and strategic appointments in Asia for scientists and professionals who are working on the field of the water industry and sustainability. The second edition was organized in Salerno (Italy) in 2018.
This third edition of WaterEnergyNEXUS conference will provide an international platform to share and discuss key topics on such water issues with the presentation of nature-based solutions, advanced technologies and best practices with the support of experts invited as plenary and keynote speakers. An additional aim of this 2020 WaterEnergyNEXUS conference is to contribute to the overall goal of enhancing cooperation, integration and sustainable development in the Euro-Mediterranean region on critical topics of Water and Energy.
The WaterEnergyNEXUS series of conferences received the support of the UNESCO World Water Association Programme (WWAP) and the International Water Association (IWA) It is also under the patronage of several international scientific societies, associations and organizations. And, it enjoys the publishing partnership with Springer Nature.
