Planetary Health Mentorship Program
This program is an online mentorship program coupled with technical training sessions on key themes around planetary health during a three month period starting early October 2020.
What is Planetary Health?
Planetary Health is interdisciplinary and cross-cutting, encompassing multiple fields such as sustainability, medicine, public health, environmental science, social work, and more. ln short, it refers to the health of human civilization and the state of the natural systems on which it depends.
Whom is this program for?
This program targets young female aspiring leaders from the Global South who are studying and working on themes related to Planetary Health.
You will be connected to an experienced professional to exchange openly about your personal and professional journey to refine your own personal and professional missions. The program is a chance to kick-off new partnerships and get career advice. In our training sessions, we help you to enhance soft skills related to leadership, communication, negotiations and networking.
Eligibility
- Female scholars less than 35 years old
- Masters or PhD students from low-and middle-income countries Preference for candidates already involved in Planetary Health research project or activity
- Outstanding students with an original research project
- Interest in gender issues, health and/or sustainability
