COP26 held in Glasgow witnessed the launch of two major, peer-reviewed volumes on climate change adaptation, produced by a team of researchers associated with the International Climate Change Information and Research Programme (ICCIRP) https://www.haw-hamburg.de/en/ftz-nk/programmes/iccirp/:

  1. The African Handbook of Climate Change Adaptation, a 4-volumes publication illustrating the means via which climate change adaptation is being implemented in Africa today. With contribution from over 200 authors, this unique open access publication is freely available and has had in excess of 42.000 downloads.   2. The Handbook of Climate Change Management: Research, Leadership, Transformation, a 6-volumes compendium on the theory and practice of climate change management. With 229 chapters, to which over 500 authors from across all geographical regions have contributed, this is the largest non-publicly funded editorial project on climate change adaptation ever produced.
